PROJECTS AND CARGO WE HANDLE

The following abstract of regularly shipped cargoes reflects our capability and expertise in project shipping. The boxshaped holds of our vessels are
perfectly suited for handling all types of steel products like plates, coils and bars but also pipes and tubes.

Additionally we regularly ship the complete scope of general and project cargo including sensitive goods like yachts, wind power
components, heavy lifts and other break bulk and neo bulk cargoes.

BULK

On a frequent basis we ship bulk products from Far East to Europe and vice versa such as but not limited to wheat/grain products, calcined pitch coke, zinc and copper concentrate etc. Usually, those types of cargoes are shipped in a range of 5.000-11.000 mtons.

STEEL COILS AND STEEL CARGOES

We frequently transport steel coils in lots between 3500 – 8500 tons. Unit weights of 10 – 35 tons can be handled easily by our certified ship’s gear. SHEET PILES AND OFF-SHORE PILING Sheet piles of varying lengths between 12 and 18 meters are among the commodities we regulary ship.

HATCH COVERS

Hatch covers from Asia to Europe for the ship building industry are always welcome deck cargo for our vessels.
Reliable shipping schedules and professional handling is required for this time sensitive type of cargo.

PROJECT CARGOES

One of our key areas of business is the marine transport of project cargoes. Each shipment is unique and requires special planning and arrangements.
Often the cargo is destined for smaller out ports with draft or berth restrictions. We offer tailor made solutions.

SHELL RINGS

Shell Rings with unit weights between 50 tons and 145 tons and diameters of up to 5.25 meters require special care and handling. This type of cargo has been already shipped many times on our service from Antwerp, Belgium and Genoa, Italy to Kobe, Japan.

COACHES

Overlengthed cargo like coaches fit perfectly into our long box shaped holds. Shipped in lot sizes of 6 up to 12 units they often generate a solid base cargo for our sailings from Asia to the Mediterranean Sea.

YACHT TRANSPORT

Valuable and sensitive cargoes such as yachts, ferries and boats are being shipped on our service regularly. Special care and expertise is needed for fulfilling the individual lifting directly out of the water as well as different lashing requirements – both supervised by our technical staff to guarantee safety and professionalism when handling your goods!

WIND POWER COMPONENTS

We transport all types of wind power components on board of our ships. This includes tower sections, blades and heavy units of nacelles which can be handled easily by our vessel’s crane’s lifting capacity of up to 360 mtons in tandem mode.

OFFSHORE- / SUBMARINE CABLES

The transport of sensitive offshore-/submarine power cables is part of our daily business – thanks to our vessels are suitable and strengthened for the special installation of cable tanks/ baskets that are required for the safe carriage of this type of cargo.

HEAVY LIFTS

Generators, transformers and similar heavy units describe a substantial part of today’s project cargo. With a maximum lifting capacity of 360 tons our tonnage is conveniently in the position to handle such units in ports lacking sufficient dockside or mobile cranes. Even heavy cable reels up to 250 tons can be loaded with our own 2 x 180 tons SWL cranes. Because of specialized experience, our super cargoes guarantee safe and smooth loading and dicharge operations.
