We’re proud to have been entrusted by Peters & May to carry a number of prestigious yachts aboard our ABB Vanessa!
After loading in Hong Kong, we are now sailing to Marmaris, Türkiye, meanwhile offloading several yachts at other ports. Together we ensure safe and efficient transport for Peters & May’s clients.
Industrial carrier ABB (Asia Break Bulk, Singapore) and CPC Asia, both part of COLI Group have completed the ocean transport of 17 km of submarine cables from Hitachi to Belfast.
In Japan, the parcels were loaded on board of our own multi-purpose vessel ABB Vanessa. The cargo consisted of 2 cable carousels (each 17,50m dia x 4,50m height) of in total 1,327 MT. After our colleagues of CPC Asia had completed their job, ABB Singapore arranged for the smooth and quick transit (via the Panama canal and the Atlantic Ocean) to the cargo’s destination port in Northern Ireland. There, the carousels were safely discharged and handed over the client.
This cargo was highly time-sensitive. Therefore our team chose to sail via Panama instead of the Cape. This saved valuable time, but, of course, required very strict planning to ensure that the vessel would get the right transit slot in the Panama Canal.
All in all we are proud of our colleagues at ABB and CPC who delivered another project to the full satisfaction of our client.
