Today marks our 20th anniversary! On 6 October 2006, Asia Break Bulk (ABB) was founded in Singapore. From the beginning, we have been connecting Asia and Europe through our semi-liner service for breakbulk and heavy lift cargo.
From the first F-type vessels entering service in the early 2000s until today, the MPP sector has changed significantly.
Over the past two decades, cargo compositions have shifted, vessel technology has advanced, and new-generation tonnage offers significant advantages in fuel consumption and ETS exposure.
At the same time, increasing competition from large MPP liner operators is putting pressure on the market.
